Winter Frost Necklace to be Featured in Bead and Button Magazine

I am very excited to announce that my Winter Frost Necklace will be featured in the June 2011 Bead and Button magazine!
Created with hundreds is sterling silver beads, this necklace was in my mind for months before I finally purchased the materials. It was a huge step for me, it meant taking my jewelry to the next level in that I would be using a considerable amount of sterling, which as we all know has taken a leap in price.
I wanted to do a monochromatic piece in silver and Winter Frost is just that. To make the piece more comfortable to wear I used beautiful silver peacock pearls for the upper part of the neck with tiny sterling beads between. There are Swarovski crystals in the weave so there is just a delicate reflection of color making this a piece you can wear with many different outfits.
Although the piece is for sale, I do have to send it in so they can photograph it so I will let you know when I get it back. Should you want this elegant beauty for yourself you can put a deposit down for me to hold it for you.
I can’t wait to see the professional photos as it is difficult to capture the true magnificence of this piece with my digital camera.
