Divella Delights

Hi and welcome to my blog. I look forward to your comments and suggestions!

I live in Vermont so of course I love to support Vermont and  New England Artisans when I can. Often, you will see a blog here that does not pertain to jewelry and/or hats in any way.  Somtimes my blog has nothing to do with Vermont in any way, but will  be about a source, link or product that I really like.

Also, be sure and check out my "Links" page for lots of different things from Accessories to Wellness.

Grab and cup of tea, coffee or cocoa, sit back and have a look around, I hope you find something interesting and enjoy your time here!

Crochet Rope too Small? Check this out!

Oct 25 2010

Some of you may remember when I was making these crochet rope bracelets. A short time later everyone was making them so I set those aside and went on to other things. As I was getting the studio a little more organized I found a few that I had not put together and wondered what I could do with them and here is what I came up with.

The crochet rope is 7" or thereabouts and I decided to make necklaces out of them. I attached 49 strand wire to each end, filled it with genuine Garnet chips, added a beautiful artisan created lampwork bead and now you have 2 necklaces…one with the drop and one without. Just slide the drop over the toggle clasp and you have the plain crochet rope!
