Divella Delights

Hi and welcome to my blog. I look forward to your comments and suggestions!

I live in Vermont so of course I love to support Vermont and  New England Artisans when I can. Often, you will see a blog here that does not pertain to jewelry and/or hats in any way.  Somtimes my blog has nothing to do with Vermont in any way, but will  be about a source, link or product that I really like.

Also, be sure and check out my "Links" page for lots of different things from Accessories to Wellness.

Grab and cup of tea, coffee or cocoa, sit back and have a look around, I hope you find something interesting and enjoy your time here!

Free Earrings..get the details!

Mar 10 2011

I really want to know what drives people to shop, or not to shop, for items on line.

I have decided to have a drawing for everyone who replies to my weekly question for helping me get some answers.

Let’s jump right in!

We’ll begin with a basic question.

When you come across handcrafted items that you love on line, what is the main factor that prevents you from making your purchase?

  1. Price too high for what you see.
  2. Price too low for what you see.
  3. Photo quality
  4. Unrecognized name
  5. Website appearance
  6. Not enough information in the descriptions
  7. Shipping prices
  8. Refund policy
  9. Other, please explain.

Each week I will have a drawing for a free pair of earrings for those who participate by making a comment answering the question. Please make sure you enter your e-mail address on your comment. It does not show up on the website, but does enable me to contact you if you are the winner. I will not use your e-mail address for any other purpose except to notify you if you should be the winner of the drawing.

If you would like to be added to my e-mail list, please feel free to sign up on the bottom of any page.

Thanks so much for participating!

Reputation! I am hesitant to order from sites that I know nothing about. I think an online store should have a presence in as many venues as possible to make their business a viable online shopping option. Also, a well written and maintained website make a big impression on me. Lastly, the quality of the merchandise ordered. It is not easy to be assured of great quality but you certainly can get a good idea of what you might be getting. I would always, always require a vendor to offer a 30 day refund.

For me, I would say the price of the item. I also create so I do know that the price may be item appropriate, but being a single person and one that has to watch her budget, it does make a difference to me. I do appreciate your sales :)
