Divella Delights

Hi and welcome to my blog. I look forward to your comments and suggestions!

I live in Vermont so of course I love to support Vermont and  New England Artisans when I can. Often, you will see a blog here that does not pertain to jewelry and/or hats in any way.  Somtimes my blog has nothing to do with Vermont in any way, but will  be about a source, link or product that I really like.

Also, be sure and check out my "Links" page for lots of different things from Accessories to Wellness.

Grab and cup of tea, coffee or cocoa, sit back and have a look around, I hope you find something interesting and enjoy your time here!

Easy Earring Displays

Feb 22 2012

I was going to a hair salon, which is great place to have your business cards or small display, and I needed to come up with a quick earring display for just a few pair of earrings.  This is also a handy way to hing your earrings at home so you can see them easily and since they hang on the wall as well as sit on the table it can save you pleanty of space on your dresser.

I took a frame currently not being used and some shelf liner, the rubberized type and came up with this easy display using items you probably have around the house. The liner I had matched the cardboard so I left it alone, but you could put something else behind the liner if you like or you can get the liner on a variety of colors. It works well for earrings because you can put them in and take them out many times without damaging your display. I like the focus to be on the jewelry and not so much on the display so this neutral color I had on hand worked perfectly for me.

Then when I started looking around the house these caught my eye.

The black frames lend well to putting different color backgrounds on each one if I so desire. Now I won’t be removing the family photos but the frames are really inexpensive and would allow me to display different price points in the same frame if I wish or just put a couple pair in each one. I am also thinking I can cover the verbiage with something relating to my business.
