Divella Delights

Hi and welcome to my blog. I look forward to your comments and suggestions!

I live in Vermont so of course I love to support Vermont and  New England Artisans when I can. Often, you will see a blog here that does not pertain to jewelry and/or hats in any way.  Somtimes my blog has nothing to do with Vermont in any way, but will  be about a source, link or product that I really like.

Also, be sure and check out my "Links" page for lots of different things from Accessories to Wellness.

Grab and cup of tea, coffee or cocoa, sit back and have a look around, I hope you find something interesting and enjoy your time here!

Rags

Jun 08 2009

My daughters hate it when I refer to these wonderful, colorful 100% cotton cloths as rags. I got that from my Grandma June who taught me how to make these a long time ago. Sadly, Grandma is gone now but not her rags or her sarcasm, they live on, I have had mine for years. I continue to make them for the family and thought I would put some on my website for those who would rather have handmade than big box! Everyone loves them! Each one is hand crochet or knit with 100% cotton yarn. They are great for the kitchen and for the bath.

I enjoyed looking at all the handmade items you've created and found that you and I have been doing a lot of the same. I make these "cloths" and call them my Prayer cloths. I found some ribbons at Micheals that have different sayings on them and tie them up with it. Makes great gifts.

You mentioned LLBean. I love Bean since I'm from NH. I do miss New England. Can you email me and let me know what is happendging up North.
