Whew, what a week it has been.
I sold 10 hats to a gallery in South Portland, Maine and she sold them all the very next day! I have been working on this neckpiece but have to put it aside now and focus on more hats. I have an order for 2 dozen hats for Bonnet Boutique due the end of September and the gallery in Maine wants more too.
I have been learning a lot of new beading stitches and micro-macramé over the summer and am really excited about being able to put it all together.
I also have to do some of the woven gemstone sets for the local jewelry store, 5 or 6 should be enough until November. Then there is the opening there sometime this Fall. It is a fine jewelry store but they have also purchased a bunch of my hats and fulled wool purses so they want to do a show featuring me. I don’t normally go in for that sort of thing but we have been doing business now for a few years so what the heck.
In addition, I am going back to LL Bean this season so I should be able to stay out of trouble this winter! I can’t say no…the discount is way too tasty and I love their shoes!
I had better pick up my crochet hook and knitting needles and get going on those hats!
