Late 1920's Ok so I know this hairstyle is not in the style of the late 1920’s. The hat however, is. In the late 1920’s these hats became quite popular. They sat further back on the head and did not cover as much of those great hairstyles like the earlier cloche. This one was hand knit with 100% wool then felted. The flower was crocheted using light lacy yarn and the feather was attached. I have attempted to get a variety of shots but cannot quite “get” the beauty of this chapeau.
