Divella Delights
In this section you will find some helpful tips, tricks and some of my patterns. I am not great at describing the stitches so you will have to rely on the Internet or your favorite beading magazine for that.
Let's get started!

Materials:
2 6mm beads
2 colors #11 beads (A and B)
Thread to match
# 10 needle
2 headpins (20 or 22 gauge)
2 earwires
18 # 8 beads
String on 6mm bead and tie a knot
Go through the bead to make a continuous circle as shown.

Now you want to use your #8 beads and brick stitch all the way around.
There are many good videos and written instructions on the inter net. If you Google "brick stitch" you will find one that works for you. Just remember that you will be going under the thread each time.

After you have completed your circle with 9 #8 beads you will begin your flower.
You should be coming out of the top of your last bead after going through the first bead and last bead a couple of times remembering to keep your tension snug.
Pick up 7 #11 beads color A and go back through your #8 bead making a loop.
Now go up through your next #8 bead, pick up 7 #11 beads color A go back down through your #8 bead and repeat around, ending coming up through your first #8 bead.
Pick up 9 color B beads and repeat the process above.
There are 2 ways you can do the last row depending on how much color of your 6 mm bead you want to see.
If you want a lot of your 6mm bead to show then just go back to your color A bead, pick up 11 and repeat the process above.
If you want less color to show through then thread back so you are coming out the bottom of your #8 bead, add 5 color B beads and go up through your next #8 bead.
I end by going up through a row of the #11 beads to the top, tie a knot go down through the rest of the loop do this a couple of times then I go through the 6mm bead a cut the thread.
Now use your 22-20 gauge headpin and go through your 6mm bead so the head of the pin lies flat. From here you can either add some other beads as I have done here or just loop or wire wrap your headpin place on your earwire and you are done!
